Winter Wedding Flowers
Author - Autumn Du Pré (The Paper Couturière)

If you like winter weddings as much as I do, you know that, although there are many winter décor ideas, there might not be the flowers readily available that you think are unique; colourful, and beautiful.

Actually, there are many gorgeous flowers that are readily available in Australia during the winter months. Choose 1 or 2 and carry them throughout the ceremony and reception. Or, be a complete stand out and choose several and have a multi-floral bouquet. Either way, with the selection of flowers that grow in winter in Australia, you can’t go wrong, and you can prove that winter wedding bouquets can be so much more than just hearty greenery.
Among the vast selection of flowers that are available in the Australian winter are:
Anemone, Arum Lily {Calla Lily}, Camellia, Daffodil, Daphne, Earlicheer, Freesia, Hyacinth, Iris, Jonquil, Japonica, Kale, Lavender, Orchid, Poppy, Ranunculus, Rhododendron, Rosehip, Stock, Sweet Pea, Tulip, Violet, Wattle.
So don’t let the flowers be the reason why you don’t have a cozy and beautiful winter wedding. The flowers, 2nd to the bride {of course}, can be the stunner of the entire ceremony.
